What is OnPointe about?
The iKapa Dance Theatre teachers and performers have launched an independent dance studio. OnPointe Dance Studio is about sharing our love and passion with people who want to learn to dance, to express themselves, to move or simply get fit. With equal focus on contemporary dance technique, body conditioning and a whole lot of fun, we’d like to invite you to join us for our open evening classes.
Stadium showcased the iKapa dancers' incredible talent. Come and be taught by these awesome dancers.
Not only will you learn to dance but the proceeds of OnPointe Dance School will go towards iKapa Dance Theatre’s Outreach Program which teaches over 300 children in the townships dance and life skills. So each student who takes classes with OnPointe is helping to change lives through dance!

Can you give me more information about the classes? What level I would need to bring with etc.?

We’d love to have you join us for classes from next month!
The current level is suitable for everyone and we’ll be adding a new level in a few months for more advanced students to grow into.
All you need to bring with is whatever you are comfortable dancing in and a pair of socks.

I am so excited to have seen the mini in garden centre – have been looking for contemporary dance classes and was just about to start with Ballet. Do you still have your Wednesday open classes? Can I come for a trial class next Wednesday? I even live in Woodstock so this is perfect! I do have previous experience in Jazz and contemporary – about 6 years ago..
